Marry Me Mary or Secret Garden ?

Annyeong ! *Eh betul ke eja? Hahaha

So, for today, I'd like to make a review on both new TV dramas, one from KBS & another from SBS if Im not mistaken, Marry Me Mary and Secret Garden. 

Marry Me Mary 

At first you will be thrilled watching this drama, because , Jang Geun Suk is the leading actor, as the leader of an indie band with a carefree attitude, Kang Moo Gyul. He used to act in Baby and Me, Your Beautiful, Beethoven Virus and Doremifasolatido.

In this drama, a girl named Mary lives a troublesome life due to the huge amount of his father's debts to shark loans that caused her to drop out of college and to live in an empty house. She was forced into an arranged marriage with Jung In by their fathers in order to pay his father's debts. Disliking the plan made by the stubborn fathers, she asked help from Moo Gyul to be his fake husband for 100 days. Later, they both actually fall in love with each other & Jung In then realised he did not want to lose Mary either.

So, the good thing about this drama is, good-looking actors, interesting beginnings, nice songs *oh Jang Geun Suk sang his band songs by himself, memang best. At first it was interesting, but later on the story drags around the unsolved arranged marriage, and typical stubborn parents. The ending was rather unpredicted but sorts of ok only.

My verdict ? Ok, as it compromises the element of humor, music & love. What is lacking is emotions, but it is a fun drama to watch.

Secret Garden

Well, the first time I heard about this drama is during the period Im absorbed into Marry Me Mary, so I said, " mesti tak best." Hahaha, pathetic gila aku. 

In these drama, Hyun Bin as a director of a luxurious department store, Kim Joo Won has always been such an arrogant person. He met a stunt woman, Gil Ra Im by mistakenly assuming her as his popular but not talented singer who is also his cousin, Oska's scandal. From that on, he had such a hard time because he started to grow feeling to Gil Ra Im though he clearly dislike woman of not the same class as he belongs to. Gil Ra Im meanwhile is an independent cool woman, not used to luxuries and always seeks for justice, tried to avoid Joo Won, afraid that they might fall with each other. During a trip to Jeju Island, they both got lost in the woods and came across to a mysterious restaurant named 'Secret Garden'. The owner gave them both two bottles of home-brewed alcohol and since then things started to change weirdly.

So, what is good about this drama is that, it is full of emotion. And that is what a drama is made of, Kim Joo Won's personality is almost the same is Jun Pyo, tapi Jun Pyo lagi poyo. Hahahaha. Joo Won's words to Ra Im are always as sharp as knife but, he had been watching over her trying to protect her by his own power. There are some humor parts as well but lacking in music element as it focuses more on emotions.

My verdict ? Better, than M.M.M, because it's not draggy, and tho at times the plots are cliche and can be expected, still who does not love a love story filled with tons of emotions that makes you cry a lot? *Ok that's me.
