Salam, peeps !
So, it was a legendary match between the ever legendary rivals. Yeah, who else,
Indonesia VS Malaysia
And yup, I went to the stadium, knowing that it'll be a hearty decision to choose which team I should support, and I'm being indecisive, because I'm a girl with two countries to love. Hai, my name is Dian Fitria, and I've always thought that from my name itself, you should know, I'm not purely a malay girl. I'm Javanese, born in Malaysia, got my IC, and been here for the entire life I've lived happily. So, what's with the indecisive-ness ?
When people ask me, to choose, like always, I'm indecisive. But then, this has no relation to the fact that you may say that I'm being ungrateful. No. I've always appreciate the fact that thanks to this country, I can live well, I have good friends, and my journey has always being blessed by Allah. And neither do I have forgotten my roots. We all are Asean people, and we are all of the same roots, same religion and same eastern culture. What to forget? And what to lose?
I believe that I'm such a lucky person, to be able to experience both cultures, both unique features and others. Thus, why bother? I love Malaysia & Indonesia. And to watch the football match of both countries, I support for both, but in the end there's only a winner, and doesn't mean the losing team is such a loser. If its a fair play, then we shall respect the winning team, and I believe all is well.
Nothing to bother, and nothing to be ashamed of. Thanks Allah, for all the chances given, (:
and heyy, congrats Malaysia, love yaaaaa !
